Yichen Li

Yichen is interested in using methods from cognitive science, neuroscience, and computational modeling to understand the underlying representations of abstract concepts and the operations behind our compositional thoughts and common-sense reasoning.

 

Lucas Woodley

Graduate Student

Lucas is interested in the social and economic influences of decision-making and behavior. His current research focuses on intergroup conflict resolution, affective polarization, and intellectual humility using methods from economics and psychology. His previous work has explored the impact of behavioral heterogeneity on the efficacy and equity of electric vehicle policies, relationships between implicit bias and racial inequities in healthcare, and gender inequities among social welfare programs.

Jesus is interested in the influence that social class and group membership have on cognition and perceptions of inequality. He is particularly interested in exploring the cognitive mechanisms that influence inter-group cooperation, empathy, and altruism, with the goal of identifying factors that either promote or inhibit these processes.

Shankar Ravi

Shankar Ravi

Data/Software Specialist

Shankar is passionate about leveraging applied computation for social impact. Currently  they’re engaged in research which focuses on using game-based interventions to address and reduce affective polarization within communities. He is dedicated to bridging the gap between education and technology to create environments where humans can collaborate more effectively, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose. 

Matt Coleman

Matt Coleman, PhD

Giving Multiplier, Executive Director

Matt is the Executive Director of Giving Multiplier, a donation platform founded in the Greene Lab to promote high-impact charitable giving. He completed his PhD in Experimental Psychology at Northeastern University, where he studied how people think about donating to charity, the well-being of future generations, and large-scale risks to humanity.  personal website
